Of all the spiritual-wellness techniques out there, a sound bath may be the most easily streamed. At its simplest, sound bathing is meditation with a soundtrack. Brooklyn-based sound therapist Sara Auster calls it a “full-body listening experience.” Her website is an excellent primer on the subject, and she’s written a new book for serious practitioners. She leads live sound sessions on Instagram three times a week and sells recordings of her sessions — digital or, for those who prefer an old-school approach to New Age healing, vinyl.
