With the arrival of fall, those who live in—or plan to visit—South Florida will cheer the end of the rainy season and the beginning of stone crab season. There’s plenty to look forward to all winter long—including a wide mix of festivals and the chance to hit the beach, day after sunny day.
Someone Who Inspired Us
This February, founder and director Lee Brian Schrager’s Food Network and Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival will once again take over Miami and Fort Lauderdale’s food scenes with more than 100 events. To date, the annual event has raised more than $28 million for the Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management at Florida International University.

Don’t be just anybody at the beach, by the pool, or on the yacht. In South Florida, even drying off after a swim requires serious style. Be visible with an iconic Missoni terrycloth beach towel. Or, for the ultimate in luxury brand shout-outs, reach for a Louis Vuitton beach towel.
