2nd Annual ‘Bedside Reading’ Weekend Kicks Off in Hamptons.
There’s nothing more relaxing than curling up with a good book on a chilly winter’s day, and if you happen to be in one of the cozy luxury inns that dot the Hamptons, then all the better. But there’s still the matter of that good book…
Never fear, lazy literati! An organization named Bedside Reading has made a business out of placing books on the nightstands of luxury hotels throughout the United States, making sure that no one has to go to bed lonely. The books range from thought-provoking novels to romance and suspense, and also include books on improving your business and personal outlooks.
If these are the types of literature you’d like to get in bed with, Bedside Readings is hosting a three-day event in some of the Hamptons’ most elegant inns at the end of this month. Attendees will have the chance to meet authors at signings and enjoy cocktail parties, brunches, and even a baking demonstration. Tickets are $150 for all three days of events. The complete schedule is below.
Of course, if you’re inclined to grab one of these page-turners and cuddle under a comforter, heaven is just a room key away — assuming you’ve thought to book ahead.
