This week, New Zealand’s Oscar-winning director Taika Waititi leads an all-star roster of readers — including Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchette, Lupita Nyong’o, Nick Kroll, and Chris Hemsworth — for Roald Dahl’s 1961 kids book, James and the Giant Peach. The reading, released in installments on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays on the Roald Dahl YouTube channel, aims to raise money for nonprofit Partners in Health, which is fighting COVID-19 in the world’s most vulnerable areas.
