Guitarist Robert Fripp, frontman for the progressive rock group King Crimson since its founding in 1968, was excited to be kicking off a 25-date tour with The Zappa Band this summer. The COVID crisis changed those plans. So Fripp found a different way to keep busy during quarantine. He’s launched “Music for Quiet Moments,” a series of mellow soundscapes — one trippy track each week for 50 weeks. New installments land on YouTube each Friday.
