There’s been no shortage of streaming culture during this time of social distancing, and Carnegie Hall has been making some of the best of it. The excellent Live with Carnegie Hall series presents some of the world’s top musicians, trading their formal concert dates for something a bit more relaxed. This week is an especially good one. On Thursday at 2 p.m., the great Emanuel Ax joins Yefim Bronfman and Marc-André Hamelin to contemplate the legacy of great pianists at Carnegie Hall, from Vladimir Horowitz to the modern masters. The program is free, of course, but an RSVP is requested.
