Whether you yearn for the lapping waves of the Atlantic, the emerald waters of the Gulf Coast, or the buzzing parks of Orlando, here are five Florida homes for rent to kick up your heels and escape the snow.

The Palm Beaches

The Home: Palatial Palm Beach living is for the taking at this jaw-dropping five-bed. The home is a stunning exemplar of Mediterranean Revival style, bearing timeless hallmarks like the red-tiled roof, stucco facade, and abundant archways — including some leading to an infinity pool and infinity poolside tennis court. Things are magnificent inside among handsomely tiled floors, exposed wooden beams, and decorative staircase risers. You’ll feel like the ruler of a tropical castle as you delight in calming Intracoastal views, dine beneath coffered ceilings, or entertain atop a partially covered terrace. Did we mention ocean beach access?

The Place: Palm Beach is as much a brand as it is a city and with good reason. There is a clear image in peoples’ minds when you utter the name — one flaunting impressive homes, immaculate beaches, and a who’s who of neighbors and residents. Though the Gilded Age has long since passed, this one-time resort remains a land set apart — literally and figuratively. Worth Avenue boasts a wonderland of shopping alongside elegant eateries helmed by world-renowned chefs.

The Home: This c.1925 house is preserved in stucco within West Palm Beach’s Flamingo Park Historic Residential District. While perhaps humble in its construction, the home nonetheless wows as classic and modern elements merge effortlessly. Beyond every one of the home’s stylized archways, atop hardwood flooring, is a world combining enduring elegance and comfort. The first-floor primary suite flaunts a king-size bed and French doors opening to a serene pool area. Relax here among the palms, whether lounging on the travertine patio or wading in the water. Find a covered patio on the second floor and a home office with indoor-outdoor flow.

The Place: As expected, the Flamingo Park Historic Residential District is quite residentiary. If you’re not in the mood for looking at the neighboring landmarked homes, plentiful excitement awaits nearby. The Square on Rosemary Avenue in downtown West Palm Beach is within walking distance, and the general area is flush with entertainment, shopping, and dining options. Plus, Palm Beach’s splendid splendors are a mere five-minute drive.

This skyward home flaunts 2,500 square feet of terrace, an unrivaled level of open-air space to play with. Even when not living al fresco, however, you’ll be awash in natural light spilling across an open floorplan through wide-ranging window walls. Each bedroom also benefits from ample exposures — and the city vistas accompanying them. The building’s amenities package is stacked beyond belief and includes multiple pools and lounges, two tennis courts, a spa, and an outdoor soccer field so you can show Messi how it’s done.

The Place: Ride down the penthouse’s private elevator and arrive in the thumping heart of Downtown Miami. An endless culinary adventure, with tastes spanning the globe, awaits at some of the country’s finest restaurants. You’ll also be near multiple waterfront parks plus cultural experiences at area institutions like the Pérez Art Museum, the Frost Museum of Science, and the Adrienne Arsht Performing Arts Center.
