Cortina Rentals for the Winter Olympics
The 2026 Winter Olympics are coming to Cortina d’Ampezzo. We asked Corcoran Magri Properties to curate their most competitive seasonal rentals in this mountain resort town known as the “Queen of the Dolomites.”
70 years after the 1956 Winter Games in Cortina, the Olympic torch will return to Northern Italy for the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Games. Some of the most anticipated events — curling, bobsleigh, skeleton racing, and women’s alpine skiing, to name a few — are taking place right in Cortina d’Ampezzo, providing the perfect excuse to visit this world-class winter retreat in the heart of the Dolomites.
Maddalena Magri and her team at Corcoran Magri Properties have a handful of seasonal rental listings that are in easy proximity to all the Olympic festivities. And if you’re inspired to test out the slopes yourself, the majority of Dolomiti Superski will still be open during the Games, allowing visitors to alternate spectating with sport.
Just a short distance from Cortina’s town center, this aptly named three-bedroom, two-bathroom residence is located on the second floor of a large chalet, which features a wraparound balcony with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. There’s an open-plan living area with spaces for dining and relaxing, as well as a cozy mezzanine lounge set beneath a vaulted ceiling — it’s outfitted with a long L-shaped sofa perfect for conversing (or, less socially, a dopo sci nap). The wood-paneled primary bedroom boasts an en suite bath, while a second bedroom has a pair of cozy, built-in bunk beds that give Heidi-vibes. A third flex room offers additional sleeping capacity.
An absolutely Alpine-chic two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment in the heart of Cortina is wrapped in fir wood–paneling throughout, including lining the walls and ceilings of every room and covering the cabinet fronts in the kitchen and the bathroom. The blond wood adds warmth to the unit’s contemporary style, which includes built-in shelving and storage in multiple rooms, and glass doors in the living area that lead to a private balcony with the most scenic views of the snow-capped mountains. A private garage is included in the rental.

The interiors are straight out of a Visconti film, with herringbone floors, opulently wallpapered bedrooms, and a coffered ceiling library with a fireplace and built-in bookshelves. A terrace affords the occupants with views of the Tofane, Becco di Mezzodi, and the Cinque Torri. And after a long day on the slopes, whether as a spectator or an athlete, head to the lower level of the villa where you can unwind in the sauna. The rental includes a large garage and ample outdoor parking spaces.

The dining area is a cute wood-paneled nook with built-in benches that feels festive and cozy, while the adjacent living room has a ceiling with wooden beams, adding the chalet-style vibes. The bedrooms include a small, tucked-away niche with a twin bed that is a perfect kid-friendly hideaway and sleeping spot, a primary bedroom with access to the veranda, and a third double bedroom, offering plenty of options for your group.
A charming three-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment in a delightful alpine villa boasts a view of the Tofane, Croda da Lago, and Becco di Mezzodì from the private garden. The living room also has a fireplace for cozy winter evenings and opens up into a booth-like dining area with built-in bench seating that connects to the garden. The primary bedroom has an en suite bathroom, while the other two bedrooms boast two twin beds in one and one twin bed in the third.
