Get an early peek at some of our agents’ favorite new property listings in New York City, the Hamptons, Hawaii, California, and beyond.

Enjoy our weekly survey of some of Corcoran’s best new home listings across the country. On deck this week: A custom-designed Upper East Side townhouse, a collection of unique cottages in Hawaii’s rainforest, a Palm Beach penthouse by both the palms and the beaches, a chic cottage in Sag Harbor, and an architectural masterpiece set in the bluffs north of New York City.

New York City

What’s Here: World-class comfort on the Upper East Side with the scale and detail to match. This six-story townhome was rebuilt entirely in a custom design from Steven Harris, conveying a modern take on classic touches—from the crown and baseboard moldings to wrought-iron railings to reclaimed Russian oak wood floors. With 7,000 square feet of internal space, find a full-floor primary suite—with a Calacatta Gold marble bath—a state-of-the-art kitchen, a sauna and steam room, and many more gems within.

What We Love: On top of and to the side of the townhouse’s stunning interior is an additional 2,000 square feet of outdoor space. There’s a double-tiered backyard garden and a French-style terrace, but the cherry on the literal top is the roof deck boasting an outdoor kitchen, a dining area, lovely landscaping, and can’t-miss cityscape views.

Listing: Ileana M. Lopez-Balboa and Deanna Kory.

Asking: $20,000,000.

East End

What’s Here: The charm and chic of the East End meet in this three-bedroom shingle-style cottage. A vaulted ceiling with exposed wooden beams grants a rustic charm to a broad open plan section containing the living room, dining room, and kitchen. Bay views present themselves from the comfort of the primary bed, with even closer glimpses available from the room’s private balcony.

What We Love: You can enjoy picture-perfect Sag Harbor living here, either indoors or out. A step into the backyard reveals a covered pergola beside lush greenery, a heated gunite pool, and ample space for relaxing and entertaining.

Listing: Debbie BrennemanCharlie Esposito, and Debbie Loeffler.

Asking: $3,100,000.

South Florida

What’s Here: Formation-of-the-universe-as-we-know-it levels of bang for your buck from a compact Palm Beach penthouse. Sitting within the historic Palm Beach Hotel Condominium, you’re only minutes away from the area’s premier dining and shopping and the oceanfront’s white sands. Inside, light shines into a cozy sitting room and fosters a warn aura throughout the home. Features such as a beamed cathedral ceiling level up the grandness of this ideally situated residence.

What We Love: The c.1920s building itself, which sports two mission-style bell towers, terra cotta roof tiles, a textured stucco facade, and many more intricate details that make it a striking exemplar of Mediterranean Revival architecture.

Listing: Jaana Gollan.

Asking: $599,000.

Rockland County

What’s Here: Known as “The Looking Glass,” this 1976 Charles P. Winter masterpiece is built into the bluffs of Nyack on 2.8 acres, with views of the Hudson River, Piermont, and the Tappan Zee Bridge. Winter, a well-known mid-century modern architect who primarily built in Rockland County and nearby neighborhoods, designed the house for his friend Bigelow Green, a Broadway producer. This is the first time the residence, with its three bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms, has ever been on the market.

What We Love: The spectacular views from both inside and outside, thanks to Winter’s thoughtful window placements, as well as the multiple decks and balconies surrounding the house.

Listing: Adam Blankfort

Asking: $849,000.

Hawaii

What’s Here: A unique gathering of four cottages and a 12-sided “Skylight House” built on 1.4 acres in the Kilauea rainforest, adjacent to the Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park. The owners built these five structures with local builders and craftsmen over the past 32 years, carving the space out of the dense rainforest. Today, the four cottages are rented out as the Volcano Rainforest Retreat, a highly rated, permitted bed-and-breakfast and the Skylight House remains as the owners’ personal residence.

What We Love: The unusual details in each house highlight the connection between the indoor and outdoors, including authentic, wooden ofuros (Japanese soaking tubs) and outdoor showers made out of lava rock, all nestled amid the lush rainforest surroundings.

Listing: Rebecca Hirsch-Keliihoomalu.

Asking: $1,600,000.

Bay Area

What’s Here: A light-filled 3,850-square-foot house in Upper Rockridge, in the Oakland Hills. On the first level, there’s a separate entrance into a bedroom with its own wet bar, with French doors opening to the front patio. Upstairs, the main floor has a eat-in kitchen, family room, and a formal dining room that opens to the back yard, as well as a living room and two bedrooms. On the top floor, the primary suite has its own fireplace, office, and balcony overlooking the San Francisco Bay.

What We Love: The stairs leading to the entrance mirror the flight of stairs on the other side of the house. These public stairs date from the early 1900s and are a hallmark of the Oakland Hills, as well as serving as convenient shortcuts for the neighborhood.

Listing: Heidi Marchesotti.

Asking: $1,985,000.

Lake Tahoe

What’s Here: This recently renovated storybook chalet with four bedrooms sits on 1.2 acres, with 98.4 feet of lake frontage and two permitted buoys. The hickory hardwood floors have hydronic floor heating underneath and the gourmet kitchen has Wolf appliances and a breakfast bar. Many of the rooms have high, vaulted ceilings adding to the mountain motif carried throughout the architecture.

What We Love: Relax in the hot tub on the gorgeous 850-square-foot, two-level deck and enjoy panoramic views of Lake Tahoe.

Listing: Brian McGeever and Tracy Voelker.

Asking: $15,995,000

Denver

What’s Here: A hidden treasure in Country Club—this 3,697-square-foot house was built in 1954 with the primary living spaces on the first floor and the small second floor being used as a home office. Currently, the house is configured into three bedrooms, four bathrooms, an office, a study, and a formal dining and living room. Depending on your needs, the home could be re-designed into a more modern open plan or kept in its original layout.

What We Love: The many period details including built-ins, two fireplaces, bay windows, and multiple doors that open into the two secluded garden spaces, bordered by a covered patio.

Listing: Barb Perry.

Asking: $1,850,000.
