For social-distancers eager to make a connection, any connection, San Francisco-based artists Danielle Baskin and Max Hawkins have launched QuarantineChat, a free voice-chat service that promises to connect total strangers from anywhere in the world. Sign up and expect phone calls from similarly self-isolating people at random times. From there, it’s up to you.
